Stacey Senac Lanoux

Stacey Senac Lanoux was born and raised in Mandeville. Her family has had roots on the northshore since the 1950's. Stacey graduated from one of the last Coordinated Programs in Dietetics  (CUP)  from the University of Southern Mississippin in 1998. She achieved her clinical dietetics experience at Baptist Hospital in New Orleans  where she specialized in oncology and served on the bone marrow transplant team. This was a near and dear place for her as he she  was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in her early twenties. After Baptist Hospital she practiced at Lakeview Regional Medical Center where she had her two miracle babies 14 months apart.

Stacey has raised her two children for the past 14 years in Madisonville. Over the years she has worked in every facet of the the dietetics industry. Stacey has more than 18 years of experience counseling and educating patients on improving health through changing nutrition and eating habits, assisting patients with controlling diabetes, facilitating clients in reaching weight loss goals and delivering nutrition support. For the last 5 years she has worked for People's Health serving as lead Clinical Dietitian on their highly specialized Wound Care Team. She traveled around southeast Louisiana visiting patients in their homes teaching them how to promote wound healing through medical nutrition therapy.

Stacey owned Nutrition Therapy LLC for over a decade where she specialized in diabetes education, cardiovascular health, wound care and alternative means of nutrition support. Stacey excels in assessing medical data, diagnostic reports and patient medical records to develop effective nutrition therapy plans to support chronic illnesses treatment.  Within her private consulting practice she served as the team Registered Dietitian for the local YMCA's Trim Kids Program. She brings her knowledge of the Multi-level Weight Management Program which is an interactive childhood weight management intervention that combines medical supervision and guidance, nutrition education and counseling, promotion of physical activity and structured exercise and family behavioral modification.
Stacey possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in diabetes self management, wound care nutrition, oncology nutrition, feeding tubes, metabolic syndrome, weight loss, food allergies and diabetes prevention.  Stacey takes pride in  ensuring high standards of empathetic and patient-centric care. She attributes her success to her work ethics and effectively treating patients.

Stacey stands behind her heritage as a Louisianan and enjoys all of the outdoors activities that the state has to offer. On the weekends you will find her digging in her garden, sight fishing for red fish in our beautiful marshes and restoring reclaimed wood to repurpose it. Stacey's passion for nutrition can be seen in the vegetables she grows and the joy she gets from sharing them with others.  Pairing her fresh vegetables with fresh caught fish make for the most delightful healthy meal.
